try ignoring it and seeing if the app will work anyway.

I have been looking for a multidesk so I can delocate and organize current work and processes over several desks that was organized itself and easy to use, then I came across vDesk.
Really funny program that is very useful and desktop revolutionary. Perhaps not as attractive as I thought, I can't put my finger on it...
What I was hoping for was a Windows version of the multiple desktop featured on Mac, which is very handy and userfriendly.
I think vDesk is working pretty good, but there's some unstability.
The part that breaks the programs function alittle bit is the "swapping"(switching desks). On Mac you enter screen mode where can you view all the desks and thy're content, and select which one to pick. If you have 8 desks on vDesk you might end up having to swap through all the desks looking for the right one, and that gets annoying after a while. No big thing, cause who uses 8 desks regularly? But still something that can be worked on of course.
vDesk is a good multidesk for Windows and if you first get into it, vDesk is a incredible program.

Doesn't have to be a copy of the Mac multidesk, that would be lame, but taking a look at the vDesk again as a continuing project would be cool. As mentioned I have tested some other multidesks without much satisfaction, most because they were so complicated and ugly designed, also not all of them worked perfectly, either because I use Windows 7 or just a normal /fail. But vDesk was so easy to understand, there's only a very limited actions you have to think of, lovely. Something to start with could've been a slightly more delicate look on the Settings window, and perhaps get a damn fresh icon for the application.
Still, good program, and if you continue working more on it, that's fantastic!

Personally I prefer setup less programs, standalone ones.

I would test it but I've never found such multi desktop solution usable. Except BlackBox... or mine "virtual" desktop (never released, it just adjusted workspace few times horizontally)

yes, making all in one apps is good...
if you cant do that, then look to thinstall it takes an app, with it's needed files, and make it portable for you.
