when you thing you will release it - I think it's the best program for it. The stuff from Angel doesn't work with different size taskbar and dual screen and the other one works only with MSN Messanger in background.
Looking good there. The Aero panel just kills it but hope you are checking if it's equally clear for the Basic users. So I guess the font color should be kept in mind to fit in transparent and opaque backgrounds both.
Kind of a personal opinion but I think adding Account type info would just be increasing the size of the pane and it's best kept small.I don't mind if that's left out
already mentioned that the frame should be above the pic so the inner edge is seen.So that's about it.
So far the app is Aero only. the DWM'd text changes literally with every visual style. With VG's Aero 7 style you can clearly see the text white fade shadows. So it's all on your style as to how it looks.
I sent fedia the source, but it ends up he doesnt do .net...

Not bad, but: Name should be bigger and Segoe UI Light All fonts should be white (or at least a white version) The line should be less opaque The avatar needs to be UNDER the frame, so that the borders show. Change settings and looks should be smaller
I Would do the name bigger, but some people have long login names (my sister has a huge one) and it will overlap the graphic... The White Font issue is because the AeroFont that you see is, infact a control that i made. I may change it. the line is just that, a line control. .net 2010 does not have the .opaque setting anymore, sadly... Hence me asking you for a graphic. when i put the avatar Under the frame... it does not show correctly. This is due to Ms's stupid rendering of Png files and such.
I can lower the font. It also took me, sadly, 4 hours worth of research to find out how to get a user's account type. So it now shows up under the user name.

Anyway you should then check if it works the same with dark themes (or ones without glassy interfaces) like Placebo [link] or Spot [link]
Many Aero users prefer dark interfaces. If the settings pane goes well with those too, it's good to go.
