This is most likely the last download prior to the Gnome 3 Shell UI code add.

Thanks to some suggestions from several people, some new features. However, the one feature that SHOULD have been in there form the beginning...

* Customizing and Saving. Use the "Properties" window. Works best.
* A list on the "Loading" screen (debug info: Files loaded)
* Choose if MouseOver Tooltips can be seen
* Choose to limit how many Icons (a boolean value and a numerical value)
* And some other stuff I am forgetting right now also.

Saving is really the Big item with this update. It should have been in there from the beginning, but i had to learn how to use it, well, before i could use it. :D I am just used to using old school .ini files, this My.Settings thing is different, but cool also.

I files this NOT under Windows 7 but under the general "Windows Utilities" because, in theory, if you have .NET 3.5 installed, you can run this. This means Vista should be able to use this also.

If you run Vista and it works, please let me know, ok?

For the moment I am going to put on the back burner XP compatibility, I want to work on the Gnome 3 UI now.

Oh, YES you CAN use the menus for changing the settings, but the Preferences box is the way to go. Please use that.

Have fun. hopefully, see you with a working Gnome 3 Launcher UI soon :D

OH! And if some industrious person want to make a "help" type file (text?) for what the individual Properties do, I would appreciate it. You would get credit for it, also, if you check the previous post, most of the work is done for you.

I've tested this a little bit, and one bug that I keep getting is a pathtoolong exception.
This bug only happens however when I change the Desktop variable to True, to add the desktop links to harmony. I can try and figure out why this is happening if you give me some ideas as to what to try?
Error is as follows anyway in case you want more debug info: [link]

Another small bug, which has since returned, is the black gap at the bottom of the harmony bar..
Its haunting me i'm sure! :(

Other than that, its bloody great mate :D

Also has anyone done a readme/text file with the properties? If not, here's one: [link] :D
.. It's simple, but contains all the properties and what they do, its the least I could do for you man, cheers for the relentless releases and non-stop coding! :D Appreciate it!

Keep it up :D

Ok, from the error report, it said... "The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters." so i need to "shrink" the path, i think there is a way in .net to do so, so once i update again it wont be a problem.

The newest version has more properties... But i love how you did the format and layout. IF you want to, if you can maintain it and keep it up to date you WILL be credited with it in the app...

PathTooLong ... that means that the folder's path is exceptionally, well, long.
I will see if i can have it get short path...

I dont know whats causing the gap... I will look in to it also...

And no one has done a readme, thanks for it!

Don't know if it is of some interest for you, but this works very fine with my Windows XP. You can see it here [link]
Maybe it works because i have NET frameworks 4.0 extended installed on my system.

I've modded it a little to look like 8, but it's XP. You see your app is backward compatible.:)

I think that when i dropped it from a .net 4 app to a .net 3.5 that did it. because on my virtualbox install in xp, the 4.0 was not working at all...

Thanks for testing it out for me!
